SPECTROSCOPIC_DISCUSSION:
This pigment has a strong electronic absorption edge where the reflectance drops from nearly 80% to nearly 3%. The absorption edge is centered at about 0.39 microns. From 0.6 to 2.5 microns the spectrum slopes monotonically downward with just a few minor vibrational absorption probably due to adsorbed water and/or trace contaminants. These vibrational absorptions are located at 1.392, 1.435,1.392, 1.884, 1.986, 2.272, and 2.414 microns (continuum removed positions). G. Swayze
