XRD_ANALYSIS:

40 kV - 30 mA, 6.5-9.5 keV
File: stron272.out, -.mdi
References: JCPDS #5-418
Found: Strontianite solid solution

Comment: Very intense pattern of well-crystallized phase. The JCPDS pattern is of synthetic SrCO3. All reflections of HS272 lie at higher 2 theta values (smaller interplanar spacings) than the endmember reference pattern, indicating substitution of a cation (such as Ca) that has a smaller ionic radius than strontium.
