SAMPLE_DESCRIPTION:

The area measured is at the end of the Mississippi river delta, an area known as the Bird's Foot. The spectrum is the average spectrum for a dry beach area that appeared to be oil-free, including small green plants and litter from adjacent Phragmites australis plants. The reflectance measurement was made on August 14, 2010.
