Because all spectra used to construct the mixture are spectrally pure, these computed spectra are rated spectrally pure. Observed absorptions are the chlorophyll in the visible, followed by water absorptions into the near-infrared. But the water absorptions are combinations due to water in the pinion pine, liquid water, and ice.
