SAMPLE_DESCRIPTION:
This spectrum is the average reflectance of 20 field measurements of Phragmites australis. The canopy measured stood over 2.5 m tall. The spectral measurements were made from the side of the canopy and the edge of the stand was traversed while recording measurements. The reflectance measurements were made on August 14, 2010, using an ASD Field Spectrometer 3 (FS3) in reflectance mode, relative to a Spectralon reference panel. An average spectrum was computed from the recorded measurements. The average spectrum was converted to absolute reflectance by multiplying by the reflectance spectrum of the Spectralon reference panel.
