SPECTROSCOPIC_DISCUSSION:

The spectrum somewhat resembles that of halloysite in the 2.2 micron region where a strong muscovite band is superimposed on a broader kaolinite band. All combinations of kaolinite + muscovite have been observed at Cuprite at the margins of the alteration centers.
