SAMPLE_DESCRIPTION:
Man made precipitate from acid waste water treatment. Sample was collected from the edge of a pond on the tailings pile at the Summitville Mine during the summer of 1993. The sample was of a waste product generated during water de-acidification of mine waste water. The sample was transported and dumped on the tailings pile for containment.
