SPECTROSCOPIC_DISCUSSION:

Spectrum typical of dried grass with monotonically increasing spectral reflectance from UV to 1.5 microns. Absorptions characteristic of water at 1.4 and presumably 1.9 microns. Portions of the spectrum have been removed because they were noisy due to atmospheric absorptions. This spectrum was collected in the field. Absorptions at 2.01 and 2.32 microns are characteristic of cellulose, lignin and other organic compounds.

END_SPECTROSCOPIC_DISCUSSION.

SPECTRAL_PURITY: 1a2_3_4_ # 1= 0.2-3, 2= 1.5-6, 3= 6-25, 4= 20-150 microns
