SPECTROSCOPIC_DISCUSSION:
The strong absorption edge centered about 0.45 microns gives this brick its light gray color. There is a broad absorption centered at about 1.0 micron. Absorptions at 1.4 microns and between 2.2 and 2.3 microns suggest the presence of OH bearing phases. G. Swayze.
