SPECTROSCOPIC_DISCUSSION: Condensed on an aluminum substrate which was sitting in liquid nitrogen, the aluminum substrate shows as the broad 0.86-micron feature. The major sharp features are consistent with acetylene. The ~1.5-micron feature is the first overtone of the fundamental near 3-microns.
