Crustal Geophysics and Geochemistry Science Center

Integrated Methods Development Project

Integrated Research Studies - Linking Petrophysical Properties to Environmental and Geological Factors

Subtask Objectives

Relating petrophysical properties of rocks to their geochemical, environmental, and geologic properties provides a means to integrate diverse geologic information for a wide range of applications. The petrophysics laboratory, equipment, and expertise allows for accurate measurments on a wide range of physical properties that effect environmental and hydrogeologic characterizations. The objective of this task is to provide the critical support to various CGGSC projects requiring petrophysical measurements.
