The Crustal Geophysics and Geochemistry Science Center has several laboratories to facilitate our research. These laboratories support the research of our Center, Mineral Resources Program, USGS scientific mission areas, and other Federal and state collaborative studies by providing a diverse suite of analyses as well as method and technology development. Laboratories and supporting activities for several geoanalytical techniques include analytical and research chemistry, aqueous geochemistry, geophysics, and remote sensing / imaging spectroscopy.
