Survey Map Aeromagnetic Data Surrounding Albuquerque

A high-resolution aeromagnetic survey was flown over this area in October-November, 1997 by Sander Geophysics, Ltd. on contract to the U. S. Geological Survey. The survey covers Kirtland Air Force Base, Sandia National Laboratories, the village of Los Lunas, and a large portion of the Isleta Pueblo Lands. Flight lines were flown east-west, 150-m apart, and at a nominal 150-m above ground. More information about the survey is contained in U. S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 98-0341, available from Open-File Services. OFR 98-0341 is a compact disc containing digital images in various formats, grids in ArcInfo-compatible format, original flight-line data, and a report describing the survey acquisition in more detail.
