The Santa Fe Group has much lower
density than the surrounding bedrock, producing low values (blues and purples) on the gravity anomaly map.
Perspective view of the southern part of a model
of the basin showing the base of aquifer system; that is, with the Santa
Fe Group stripped off. The model was derived from the gravity data, constrained
by deep drill-hole information.Gravity Method | Aeromagnetic Method | TEM Method
