Survey Map Aeromagnetic Data Surrounding Albuquerque

A detailed aeromagnetic survey was flown over this area in November- December, 1996 by Sial Geosciences, Inc. on contract to the U.S. Geological Survey. The survey covers northern and western suburbs of Albuquerque. Flight lines were flown east-west, 150-m apart, and at a nominal 150-m above ground (except over developed areas where the height was 300 m above ground). More information about the survey is contained in U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 97-286. Digital images in various formats, grids in ArcInfo-compatible format, and ASCII text (view the readme file first) are available for downloading via anonymous ftp. The flight-line data and contractor's grid are available from the National Geophysical Data Center, Boulder, Colorado.
