Current Projects

The laboratory and staff are involved in SIR-funded work on 16 USGS projects and three Outside Funding Agency (OFA) projects at the present time:

»National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program (NCGMP) funded projects: Southern California Areal Mapping Project (SCAMP), BALANCE, Edwards and Trinity Aquifers, Geologic Framework of Rio Grande, Central Colorado Assessment, San Luis Valley, Big Bend

»Mineral Resources Program-funded projects: Integrated Geological, Geochemical, and Geophysical Studies of Mineral Deposits, Headwaters, Metallogenic Evolution, Metallogeny of the Great Basin,
Alaska Mineral Resources Assessment Project II (AMRAPII)
